Nuclear Medicine Technologist, PRN
About the role
Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures. Participates in departmental in-service and educational offerings. Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records which contribute to the efficiency of department operations. Coordinates with other departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Performs or assists in performing quality Nuclear Medicine examinations in a timely and efficient manner while under the supervision and/or direction of an NMTCB registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, ensuring consistent workflow and high level of productivity.
- Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records which contribute to the efficiency of department operations.
- Congrates with other departments as needed.
- Aids in room preparation and restocking of rooms and other departmental storage areas with supplies necessary for patient care and procedures.
- Participates in educational activities to enhance patient care and quality of services provided.
- Ensures age/developmentally appropriate care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served to ensure patient's needs are met.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and current enrollment in JRCNMT accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Certified in basic Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Pay
Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
Schedule
Department Hours: M-F 7a-5p. Sat 7a-5p.
