Job Description
Educational Requirements:
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist certified by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Radiography certified by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
Certification & Licensing:
- NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Skills And Knowledge
- Knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- Ability to respond to traumas and various hospital emergencies
- Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
- Time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods
- Computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, and PACS

- 5 years recent relevant experience
