Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shared Medical Technology (SMT), now proudly part of Heritage Imaging, is expanding our mobile imaging team in the Bemidji, MN region, and we’re looking for a compassionate, skilled technologist who wants to bring high-quality imaging to rural communities that truly appreciate it.

About the Role

Imagine starting your day driving through pine forests, lakes, and quiet rural towns, then stepping into a clinic where patients genuinely value your expertise. At SMT, you’ll deliver advanced Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging to communities that often have limited access to specialty care. This is meaningful work in Northern Minnesota at its best.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
• Guide patients through their exam with clarity, compassion, and confidence
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment according to protocol
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
• Support equipment care and quality assurance processes

Requirements

• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification – Required
• NMTCB certification – Required
• Associate degree in a related field
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Experience with Siemens equipment is a plus
• BLS, TB, and required vaccinations
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred (mobile experience a bonus, not required)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, you’ll travel between SMT mobile imaging sites throughout the Bemidji region. Every day brings new scenery, new communities, and new opportunities to make a difference. No weekends, no holidays, no on-call.

Pay

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus
