Nuclear Medicine Physician (Per Diem)

About the role

The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a per diem Nuclear Medicine Physician to join the team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Both hospitals are part of NYC Health + Hospitals, which is the nation's largest municipal health care delivery system in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine imaging techniques.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding nuclear medicine procedures and results.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current New York State Medical License.
• Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine residency program.
• Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
