About the role
The Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist plays a crucial role in the diagnostic imaging department, responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to protocols and ensuring patient safety.
- Operating and maintaining PET/CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Documenting patient information accurately and preparing reports for physicians.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Oregon.
- Experience in nuclear medicine or PET scanning preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
Skills
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and protocols.
- Technical proficiency with PET/CT equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
