About the role

The Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist plays a crucial role in the diagnostic imaging department, responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  • Operating and maintaining PET/CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and preparing reports for physicians.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Oregon.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine or PET scanning preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

Skills

  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and protocols.
  • Technical proficiency with PET/CT equipment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
