  • Ability to care for patients of all ages.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate advanced nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials.
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures and radiopharmaceutical usage.
  • Absorb and interpret nuclear medicine images.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to radiation exposure.
  • Education and Training:
    • College graduate or equivalent with satisfactory completion of a formal Nuclear School of Medicine or equivalent.
    • CPR Certification required.
    • Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) from the NMTCB.

Qualifications
