- Ability to care for patients of all ages.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Operate advanced nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures and radiopharmaceutical usage.
- Absorb and interpret nuclear medicine images.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to radiation exposure.
- Education and Training:
- College graduate or equivalent with satisfactory completion of a formal Nuclear School of Medicine or equivalent.
- CPR Certification required.
- Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) from the NMTCB.
Qualifications
