Nuclear Med Tech, PT

Overview

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.

Qualifications

• Education: Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) – Required
• Work Experience: No experience required – Required
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • (N) ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech – Required
  • or CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech CNMT registered – Required (Upon Hire)
  • or NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech NMTCB registered – Required (Upon Hire)
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support – Required (Upon Hire)
