Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.
- Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
- Demonstrates ability to perform advanced imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
- Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Work Experience: 2 years of experience
- Licenses and Certifications:
- (N) ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech Upon Hire Required or CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech CNMT registered Upon Hire Required or NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech NMTCB registered Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
