Nuclear Med Tech - Cherokee (PRN - schedule varies)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes
• Work closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data
• Diagnose and treat diseases based on acquired images and data

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
• OR Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
• Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
