About the Role

Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus available based on experience.

Doctors Medical Center Modesto is a full-service, comprehensive health care facility dedicated to providing the finest medical care for the community. From preventive and diagnostic services to advanced stroke and trauma treatment, our multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals represents most major medical specialties.

Under minimal supervision, performs basic Nuclear Medicine procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing healthcare services to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is skilled in Nuclear Medicine and completes established competencies within the designated introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment.
• Assists practitioners with the operation of radiation detection equipment.
• Orders radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures and prepares them for injection, ingestion, or inhalation.
• Identifies radioactive substances to complete procedures.
• Processes and files films as needed.
• Must take standby/call.

Requirements

• BLS certification.
• Current State of California certification.
• Current ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or Certified Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT).
• 1+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $48.04 - $64.55 per hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
