- A Day in the Life of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Prepares, measures, and administers radio-pharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
- ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N). Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM
- Basic computer knowledge
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two (2) years of related experience, of which one (1) year was a clinical internship
