About the role
HCA Healthcare, a leader in patient care, is seeking a Nuclear CV Services Tech at Methodist Hospital. Methodist Hospital, founded in 1963, is part of the Methodist Healthcare System and offers a wide range of specialties.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates performance of employees and takes appropriate personnel action when necessary.
- Motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance by providing clear direction and expectations.
- Supervises assigned personnel within and responsible for the effective planning and operation of the section(s).
- Works with vendors to ensure optimum uptime of equipment in his/her section(s).
- Schedules preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance without disrupting patient care.
- Communicates with other managers and directors any decisions, which may impact other sections of the organization.
- Gathers and analyzes necessary data to identify relevant issues and accurately define the problem, then formulates and evaluates alternatives prior to acting on a solution.
- Supports the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System and demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
- Experience: 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
- License, Certificates, or Registrations: One of the following: ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T), or NMTCB Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
- Experience: 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
- Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations: One of the following: ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T), or NMTCB Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.
