Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Systems
• Certification(s): Security+, Oracle Database Administration and Windows OS
• Experience: 3+ years of related experience working as an Oracle/PeopleSoft DBA
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and shell/Windows scripting on multiple operating systems and network platforms.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Docker containerization running on a Linux (RHEL) platform, including building, configuring, and optimizing Docker images using Dockerfiles; managing container lifecycle operations (build, run, stop, restart, prune); creating and maintaining private container registries; implementing multi-stage builds and image layering strategies to reduce footprint; configuring container networking, volumes, and bind mounts; troubleshooting container runtime, networking, and resource utilization issues; and integrating containerized applications.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Prior experience working with and knowledge of the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS)

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
