NRO Assistant General Manager - Travel Required
About the role
The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane’s is responsible for supporting new restaurant openings (NRO) by providing oversight of the training team and supporting their development. They also train hourly restaurant managers and Assistant Restaurant Leaders while deployed, support day-to-day operations, and lead NROs when needed.
Responsibilities
- Leads the training team and oversees trainer development
- Leads the new restaurant setup and organization and ensures full and accurate completion
- Enforces Raising Cane’s policies and standards
- Executes shift management meetings
- Executes Raising Cane’s operations and safety standards
- Completes restaurant performance standards observation walks and uses tools to document results and take corrective action when needed
- Supports in strategy planning and execution in all areas of operations
- Completes other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action to solve problems
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Advanced knowledge of labor laws, staffing, scheduling, people, and cost management
- New restaurant opening experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license

Pay
The base salary starts from $65,000 to $77,500, and this position is also eligible for our Restaurant Monthly Incentive Program. The base salary plus potential monthly incentives could result in Total Target Cash ranging from $92,696 to $105,196. Base salary is based on location, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
Raising Cane's pays weekly, except in some states (e.g., California) where the company pays bi-weekly.
