About the role

The NPC Career Academy is seeking an experienced High School Welding Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in welding technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement welding curriculum aligned with state standards and industry certifications.
• Provide instruction in various welding techniques including arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting, and brazing.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback through regular evaluations and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with other instructors and administrators to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in welding technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
• Valid welding certification and/or professional membership in a relevant organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule
