About the role
The NPC Career Academy is seeking an experienced High School Welding Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in welding technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement welding curriculum aligned with state standards and industry certifications.
- Provide instruction in various welding techniques including arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting, and brazing.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback through regular evaluations and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with other instructors and administrators to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in welding technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
- Valid welding certification and/or professional membership in a relevant organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
