About the role

The Children's Guild is seeking Speech and Language Pathologist Assistants for part-time and full-time roles in the Greater Baltimore area. This position involves providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in school settings to help children overcome communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions
  • Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals
  • Create all documentation necessary and communicate with school staff and families in support of students
  • Make a lasting impact on student's educational success

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Maryland and/or Washington DC license or eligibility
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their growth
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to data-driven, evidence-based practices
