About the role

ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing General Obstetrics and Gynecology division in Greenville, North Carolina. The position is employed by ECU Health Physicians, part of a nine‑hospital physician‑led healthcare system, and offers collaboration with an academic division that includes 11 OB‑GYNs, maternal‑fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, and certified nurse midwives.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient OB & GYN clinical care with opportunity for inpatient postpartum rounding.
• Perform gynecologic procedures including colposcopies, LEEPs, and endometrial biopsies.
• Collaborate closely with an established academic division of OB‑GYN specialists and midwives.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant credential.
• One year of experience as a women’s health provider is preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Full‑time employment.
