- Established hospitalist program inclusive of 11 Physicians & 1 Advanced Practice Provider
- Specialty support includes Interventional and General Cardiology (onsite cath lab), General Surgery, Oncology, Orthopedic Surgery, Pulmonary Critical Care, Nephrology, Radiology, Infectious Disease (telemedicine), Psychiatry (telemedicine), and Neurology (telemedicine)
- Average inpatient admissions volume for hospitalist service is 5-10 patients per night

About the Role
The NP/PA will work with the Hospitalist program providing care to patients in an 8-bed open ICU with support from a tele-intensivist service based out of ECU Health Medical Center. Clinical responsibilities will include admissions and consults from ED, rounding on inpatients as needed, discharges, and coordination of patient and family care needs.

Requirements
- Minimum of one year of in-patient experience as a provider
- American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications are required
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
