NP/ PA - Neonatal ICU - WDH

About the role

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is a community hospital located in Dover, New Hampshire, part of Mass General Brigham network. The Women & Children’s Center delivers over 1700 babies annually and offers comprehensive family-focused care. The Newborn Program includes a 12-bed Level IIB Special Care Nursery, supported by MGH pediatric specialists.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery room (DR) coverage at WDH, including attending high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and newborn evaluations.
• Support prenatal and neonatal consultations with obstetric staff.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians, with occasional absence.
• Manage infants in the Newborn Nursery and Level IIB NICU, performing daily rounds, assessments, and developing care plans.
• Assess and manage patient populations, develop plans of care, and document patient information.
• Order medications and write prescriptions, following organizational and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred, 0-1 year preferred.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license required in the State of New Hampshire.
• Board certification/eligibility required.
