About the role
ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital - Tarboro is seeking a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the 24-hour Emergency Department
- Work as part of a team of 4 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
- Participate in 12-hour shifts covering day, swing, and evening shifts
- Benefit from telestroke support and strong air and ground support for immediate transfers
- Utilize the system-wide integrated EMR—EPIC
- Hold BLS and ACLS certifications
Requirements
- B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program
- Passing scores on relevant exams (NP or PA)
