About the role

The Advanced Practice Clinician provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
• Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.
• Works collaboratively with other care team members to achieve Care Team objectives.
• Establishes and enhances positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Requirements

• Strong community involvement and a solid sense of teamwork.
• High volume, team-oriented provider group consisting of 1 Physician and 4 Family Practice and Emergency Medicine APP's.
• 72-hour coverage of the emergency department, covering 2 weekends per month.
• Preference for candidates with 2+ years of practice experience in Emergency Medicine settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Familiarity with Family Medicine and ER advanced practice experience required.
