Position Overview
Employment Type: Per Diem
Minimum requirement of 4 shifts per month; 2 pm-10 pm, flexible swing shift schedule (variable days)
Call: None
Patient Volume: Varies
Locations: Northern Nevada Medical Center, Sierra Medical Center
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supervising physician
- Perform clinical assessments within the scope of licensure
- Perform initial history and physical exams
- Document care using Cerner
- Care planning and reassessment
- Patient and family education and counseling regarding diagnostics, treatment plan, and medications
- Complete billing and query responses in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Board Certified APRN or PA-C
- REQUIRED: Minimum of one year experience out of training
- No new graduates will be accepted for this opportunity
- Active or eligible Nevada medical license
- Nevada candidates are preferred
