Job Summary

The Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy is a large private ENT group with over 18 clinic locations and expanding. Physician Assistants at LA CENTA are encouraged to operate at the upper limit of their scope of practice, performing in-office diagnostic endoscopies, office procedures, assisting with logistics/patient care/OR documentation, and gaining inpatient care experience. The team is supportive, and you'll rarely wait more than a few minutes for guidance from experienced collaborating physicians.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Identifies short-term and long-range patient care issues and recommends options and courses of action.
• Affirms patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Documents patient care services in patient and department records.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding therapeutic regimens and promotes wellness.
• Maintains continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Contributes to the health care team by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university
• PA Program required
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of California
• National Certification with NCCPA
• 1-2 years of ENT experience preferred

Compensation

$120,000-$130,000 per year + benefits
