About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
- Provides daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
- Helps residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
- Offers companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
- Engages residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
- Notifies supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience working with seniors preferred
- Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
