Healthcare$28/hrFull-time
About the role
Hope House is a long-term residential recovery program for women and their children in Augusta. We're looking for an LPN to join our medical team on a weekend-focused schedule — three 12-hour shifts, your weekdays free, and a built-in Saturday rotation so you're not working every weekend indefinitely.
This role sits at the center of our participants' day-to-day medical care. You'll be the consistent clinical presence on shift — conducting med passes, performing drug screens, fielding participant health questions, supporting clinic appointments, and coordinating referrals and prescription needs. It is hands-on, relational work with a population that deserves excellent care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medication passes and supervise self-administration per physician orders
- Perform drug screens and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Respond to participant health questions and provide appropriate guidance within scope of practice
- Assist with clinic appointments and coordinate with physicians as needed
- Call in prescriptions and schedule referrals to primary care and specialty providers
- Maintain medication cart and medical office in compliance with Hope House policy and DBHDD regulations
- Support the treatment team with participant medical plans
- Provide first aid and determine when additional medical intervention is needed
Pay & schedule
- Pay: $28.00/hour
- Schedule: Thursday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. One Wednesday per month (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) rotates in place of Saturday — published in advance so you always know your schedule ahead of time.
