Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the facility.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor resident movement and help ensure residents who are not authorized to leave the facility remain safely inside.
- Remain alert and respond quickly to security concerns or emergencies.
- Be able to move quickly and take appropriate action during emergency situations.
- Maintain a professional and calm presence in a busy environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, visitors, and emergency personnel when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous security experience required.
- Military/Army veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Must be comfortable working in a busy environment with frequent foot traffic.
- Must be observant, dependable, and able to remain focused throughout the shift.
- Must be physically capable of responding quickly during emergencies.
- Strong communication and judgment skills are essential.
