About the role
We are looking for caregivers to work with clients in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate is patient, friendly, and has excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. Guardian Angel Senior Services provides care to the elderly and disabled in the comfort of their own homes. Candidates may also choose the clients they wish to work with, while earning official certification as a Home Health Aide. No experience? No worries—we train.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shopping and errands
- Report unusual incidents
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
- Plan and prepare meals with the client
- Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home
- Meal prep and cooking
- Vacuuming, dusting, dry and wet mopping
- Kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and trash removal
- Bathroom cleaning
- Changing bed linens, laundry, and folding
- Bathing, skin care, and foot care
- Feeding, nutrition, and grooming
- Transfers and incontinent care
Pay
$18–$21/hour
