Norwegian Translator
About the role
You'll translate software strings, documentation, training materials, and European tenders while contributing to localization, quality assurance, and terminology management.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to localization, quality assurance, and terminology management
- Apply language expertise to deliver clear, accurate translations for a global leader in electronic medical records
- Work with a high degree of autonomy, managing key translation projects across Epic's clinical, administrative, registration, and billing products
- Collaborate closely with implementation and technical support teams to deliver high-quality, innovative software
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
- Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
- Experience translating from American English to Norwegian strongly preferred
- Ability to ensure translation maintains appropriate feeling, tone and style
