Norwegian Translator
About the role
You'll translate software strings, documentation, training materials, and European tenders while contributing to localization, quality assurance, and terminology management. You'll apply your language expertise to deliver clear, accurate translations for a global leader in electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to localization, quality assurance, and terminology management
- Translate software strings, documentation, training materials, and European tenders
- Collaborate closely with implementation and technical support teams to deliver high-quality, innovative software
- Manage key translation projects across Epic's clinical, administrative, registration, and billing products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
- Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
- Experience translating from American English to Norwegian strongly preferred
- Ability to ensure translation maintains appropriate feeling, tone and style
- Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Cover letter required
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Epic software is not required, we will train you!
- Ability to work independently and manage key translation projects
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of meaningful work
Skills
- Strong language skills in Norwegian and English
