About the role

Listen and Learn is a successful language training company working with freelance trainers worldwide to provide private tuition for numerous languages, mainly in the UK & Ireland. We arrange teachers for students at their offices or homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver conversational Norwegian lessons to one adult student (age 56‑64).
• Provide a total of 40 hours of instruction.
• Conduct lessons at the student's home in Davidson.
• Follow the agreed schedule: two‑hour lessons, twice per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, early afternoon (~1 pm).
• Adapt to any rearrangements of location or schedule as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in Norwegian (native or near‑native proficiency).
• Experience teaching conversational language to adult learners.
• Ability to travel to Davidson for in‑home lessons.
• Availability matching the preferred schedule (flexible to adjust).
• Freelance‑part‑time status; note that the company cannot sponsor a visa.
