The Opportunity
RS&H is seeking a Northeast Aviation Market Leader to join the East Region Infrastructure Business Unit. The successful candidate will expand RS&H’s presence in the Northeast, grow the business, and lead a team to achieve mutual business goals.

About the Role

The Northeast Aviation Market Leader must demonstrate the ability to implement a comprehensive business plan, initiate and maintain strong client relationships, and manage diverse and complex work tasks. They will oversee significant airport projects, provide senior-level guidance on project development, and serve in an executive leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients to pursue and win aviation opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of a business plan that meets or exceeds sales, net service revenue, EBITDA, associate growth, and professional development goals.
  • Develop a recruiting and hiring plan to increase headcount and revenue potential.
  • Promote the RS&H brand and create an interactive working environment for associates in the Vienna, Philadelphia, and Baltimore offices.
  • Lead or work with large, multi-discipline teams and manage project schedules and deadlines.
  • Track individual project tasks, manage financial aspects of projects, and ensure quality control.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within the aviation field, either for the public sector or private sector.
  • Project Management experience working on complex airport projects and administering contracts.
  • Strong supervisory skills leading multiple teams and people.
  • Established client relationships and marketing/business development experience.
  • Experience with the development of significant traditional and alternative delivery projects and coordination with regulatory agencies, FAA, and other project stakeholders.
  • Experience leading or working with large, multi-discipline teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and overall quality control.
  • Previous leadership experience leading multiple teams or offices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional registration (PE) in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, or other states.
  • Experience participating in diverse Aviation projects using Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CM@Risk procurement methods.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must
ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within the aviation field;
Project Management experience working on complex airport projects and administering contracts;
Strong supervisory skills leading multiple teams and people;
Established client relationships/marketing and business development experience;
Experience with the development of significant traditional and alternative delivery projects and coordination with regulatory agencies, FAA, and other project stakeholders;
Experience leading or working with large, multi-discipline teams;
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail along with overall quality control and management;
Experience with successful management of project schedules and deadlines involving deliverables (including interim deadlines);
Ability to track individual project tasks.
Financial management of individual and overall project tasks;
Previous leadership experience leading multiple teams or offices.
