Responsibilities

• Record vehicle sales and sales of other products and services on the general ledger
• Review paperwork from various sales departments to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Ensure office and daily work is kept neat and organized
• Process necessary payments to customer, lienholders, and other applicable parties
• Assist in research regarding customer inquiries, sales inquiries, and additional opportunities as they arise
• Reconcile schedules to include, but not limited to: contracts in transit, inventory, vehicle payable schedules, etc.
• Fully coordinate and communicate work with appropriate associates at the dealership
• Assist other desks and personnel in the office
• Assist in preparation of sales commission summaries for payroll
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with dealership’s policies, operating standards, and applicable federal and state laws

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of accounting fundamentals preferred
• Automotive experience preferred
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of mathematical principles and application (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentage calculations); word processing, intermediate spreadsheet and database maintenance
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet, and in person
• Strong work ethic with commitment to high energy performance, quality, and service excellence
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and support change when necessary
