North Carolina Facility Seeks a Locum Tenens Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a physician for a flexible locum tenens role focused on inpatient rounding and diagnostic reads. This position is ideal for physicians seeking remote inpatient cardiology coverage in a well-supported environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 5 inpatients per coverage period.
• Conduct inpatient rounds, including potential weekend rounds.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as echos, stress tests, and nuclear medicine reads.
• Perform approximately 200 echocardiograms, 5 TEEs, and 40 nuclear medicine reads monthly.
• Provide phone call-only consultations.

Requirements

• Expertise in inpatient cardiology and diagnostic imaging.
• Strong communication abilities.

Schedule

Primarily Monday to Friday, with potential weekend rounds.
