Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and strengthen the company’s position in the eyecare market.
- Work with both direct and indirect sales channels to develop and execute localized tactical plans to deliver growth.
- Manage and grow relationships with current National Accounts, including large optometry practices, retail chains, and industry partners.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing accounts.
- Manage pricing and discounting to balance growth and achieve profitable growth.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to align strategies and enhance value propositions.
- Build and maintain a robust professional network within the eyecare industry to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Maintain account key performance indicator metrics, sales forecasts, and market share growth.
Requirements for Consideration
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the optometry, eyecare, or medical device industries.
- Strong knowledge of the optometry/ ophthalmology market, including key players and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving revenue growth.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
