Noon Lunch Aide

MISTAFF is a collaborative effort of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educational leader to serve as the next Superintendent for our school district. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective leadership, a deep commitment to student success, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership to ensure the district’s mission, goals, and objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of district-wide policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Manage the district’s budget, resources, and facilities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student learning and staff professional growth.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the district, building strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, community members, and local government officials.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal education laws and regulations.
  • Lead and support district administrators, principals, and staff in achieving educational excellence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Valid Michigan Superintendent Certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in school administration, with at least 3 years in a district-level leadership role.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex educational systems.
  • Experience in budget development, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
