Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years Non-Destructive Inspection Testing experience
• Documented previous NAS-410 Level II Training and OJT
• Certifications in Penetrant (PT), Radiography (RT), and Ultrasonic (UT)
• Interim secret clearance to start

As a Senior Nondestructive Testing Inspector, you'll perform advanced inspections on metallic and composite aircraft structures while supporting production, sustainment, and advanced development programs.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform nondestructive inspections using Penetrant, Radiography, and Ultrasonic testing methods
• Set up, operate, and maintain advanced computerized NDT equipment
• Inspect metallic structures, composite assemblies, bonded components, and weldments
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements to ensure product quality
• Support development and continuous improvement of inspection techniques and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
• Assist in training and mentoring developing NDT inspectors through on the job instruction
• Maintain compliance with NAS 410 certification requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures

Desired Skills

• Certification in Magnetic Particle (MT), Eddy Current (ET), Shearography (ST), and Thermography (IRT)
• Aerospace experience
• Ability to conduct OJT for trainees
• Penetrant and Magnetic particle experience in aerospace setting
• Ability to develop written techniques and procedures for approval by an NDT Level III
• Experience in robotic operated NDI equipment preferred
• Experience in NDI testing various materials such as: Composite Structures, Metallics, Bonded Assemblies, and welds
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and computerized workstations
• Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
