Job Information
Non-Tenure-Track ¿ Assistant Teaching Professor ¿ School of Social Work
Responsibilities
- Teach four undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the fall and spring
- Serve on School, College, and University committees
- The appointment will be as a 9-month, non-tenure-track, teaching faculty member
Qualifications
- Holds a PhD or other terminal degree in social work or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Has an MSW from an accredited school of social work and a minimum of two years of post-MSW clinical practice experience
- Experience in higher education is preferred
- Demonstrates expertise in direct practice, human behavior in the environment, and/or policy
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate with a community of students, staff, and faculty
