Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a motivated, team-building individual for the Full Time Non-Profit Manager position at our Bad Axe Store located at 780 N. Van Dyke in Bad Axe.
Pay
$50,000 salary with monthly bonus potential.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum one-year management or supervisory experience required
- Minimum of one-year of general retail or production experience
- Must have telephone access
- Must have access to a vehicle and a valid Michigan driver’s license
- Able to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without assistance
- Able to reach, bend, or stoop
- Able to stand six to eight hours a day
- Able to push, pull, and operate a pallet jack
- Able to problem solve quickly and efficiently
- Pleasant, cheerful, and professional demeanor
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and yearly retail goals
- Increase sales per square foot through proper pricing and appropriate quantity and quality of merchandise
- Increase bottom-line contribution (revenue less expense) through retail program management and effective utilization of resources
- Properly price, display, and maintain merchandise
- Increase donations by serving donors through appropriate receiving, handling, and organizing of donated goods
- Hiring, training, retaining, motivating, and communicating with store employees
