How will I receive confirmation about my placement?

Your University/ACP will provide your placement confirmation once approved by Klein ISD.

Can I decide what campus/class I will be student teaching in?

We will ask for your preferences, however, they will not be guaranteed.

Background Check

Will I have to do a background check?

Yes. All Student Teachers will be required to complete a background check.

The background check will be completed by the HR Services Department prior to placement confirmation.

Eligibility

Who is eligible to Student Teach?

Recommendation for Student Teaching must come from a University/ACP. No other requests will be processed.
