Non-Licensed A&P Mechanic - Prior Military Experience - Various Locations

About the role

This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering veterans the opportunity to use their prior military aircraft maintenance experience to become a licensed A&P mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
• Perform a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
• Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.

Requirements

• High school education or GED required.
• Military On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
• Must be able to test for your Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.
