About the role
This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering veterans the opportunity to use their prior military aircraft maintenance experience to become a licensed A&P mechanic.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
- Perform a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
- Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.
Requirements
- High school education or GED required.
- Military On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
- Must be able to test for your Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.
