About the role
Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician providing locum tenens support to manage cardiac ICU admissions and critical care cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekend night call coverage, supporting sick patients and critical care needs
- Read electrocardiograms (EKG) and echocardiograms (ECHO)
- Manage cases such as STEMI, unstable ventricular arrhythmias, and cardiogenic shock
- Round and support the interventional, electrophysiology, and heart failure teams
- Support cardiac ICU admissions and management with backup from specialized teams
Requirements
- Board certified in ECG and ECHO interpretation
- Active North Carolina medical license and DEA
- Comfortable with ICU management and critical care procedures
