Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician
About the role
This facility is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support to fill a current need. The position is based in La Crosse, a college town home to three universities (University of Wisconsin‑La Crosse, Viterbo University, and Western Technical College) with a vibrant nightlife, performing arts scene, and recognized as one of the most secure places to live in the US. The practice setting is a hospital. Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology care.
- See approximately 10 patients per shift.
- Manage about 12 daytime patients seen and 10 daytime admissions per shift.
- Handle 1–2 telephone patients or admissions overnight.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in General Cardiology
- Echocardiography board certification
- Completed Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current state medical license
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Pay
$266.75 – $288.75 per hour
Schedule
September 28, 2026 – Ongoing; 8 a.m.–5 p.m. hospital service with on‑call responsibility from 5 p.m.–8 a.m.
