Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician

About the role

Facility seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support. Practice setting is an outpatient cardiology clinic. The physician will handle noninvasive cardiology cases including echocardiograms and electrocardiograms, seeing approximately 16 patients per day. The electronic medical record system is Cerner. Credentialing takes about 2 months (may be expedited). Start date is ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and electrocardiograms.
• Evaluate and manage outpatient cardiology patients (approx. 16 per day).
• Document encounters in Cerner EMR.

Requirements

• Current Vermont medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• DEA registration.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Experience performing echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and managing outpatient cardiology patients.

Pay

$2,085.50 – $2,257.50 per day (locum tenens rate).

Schedule

3–5 days per week, starting October 2026, no call.
