Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Advanced Cardiac Imaging

Job Summary

Your role is pivotal in a rapidly expanding service line, focusing on advanced imaging modalities crucial for a programmatic approach to complex cardiovascular care. We seek a Non-Invasive Cardiologist with a strong foundation in cardiac imaging, including a preference for experience in Cardiac MRI, structural imaging, and complex echocardiography, to elevate patient care and contribute to our innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your COCATS Level III training in Cardiac CT (required) and ideally Cardiac MRI (strongly preferred) to provide expert interpretations of coronary CT angiography and structural heart CT.
• Instrumental in pre-procedural planning for complex interventions such as TAVR, TMVR/TEER, tricuspid interventions, and LAAO, collaborating closely with our structural heart, interventional, and heart failure teams.
• Utilize your skills in transthoracic and/or transesophageal echocardiography, and actively engage in the education and mentorship of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers, with opportunities to pursue academic and research interests in cardiac imaging.

Requirements

• MD/DO Degree
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
• Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
• Echocardiography (BC/BE)
• Nuclear experience preferred
• Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
