Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector
Responsibilities
with- each duty.
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills: could go under Requirements (or Qualifications). The instruction: Use Requirements for required education/experience? Possibly Requirements for mandatory qualifications, Qualifications for preferred? But they said sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can put required education/experience under Requirements. Preferred under Qualifications? Or Skills? They have Skills separate. Could put skills under Skills. But we have both required and preferred skills. Might combine.
Better: Requirements: required education, experience, certification. Qualifications: preferred education/experience/skills. Skills: maybe list specific skills (like reading technical documents, weld symbols, etc.) But we already have those in required. Could split: Requirements: mandatory (HS diploma, VT Level II cert, ability to pass exams). Qualifications: preferred (various weld inspection tools, etc.). Skills: maybe list technical skills (reading drawings, understanding weld symbols, tech pubs, measurement systems, computer skills). However we risk duplication.
Given instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could combine required and preferred into Requirements and Qualifications, and maybe skip Skills if redundant. But we need to follow headings only when content exists. Let's see content:
- Duties: yes.
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills: includes HS diploma, VT Level II cert, ability to pass exams, reading technical documents, understanding weld symbols, experience with tech pubs, understanding measurement systems, basic computer skills, physically able to access ships, vision screening, lifting up to 40lbs.
- Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: includes various weld inspection tools, standard measuring equipment, MT yokes, PT dyes, computer equipment and programs.
- Pay Information: salary range.
- Employee Benefits: list.
- About BAE Systems Platforms & Services: company description.
- Also opening paragraph: "How does it feel to work on a team driven to make a big impact? Empowering." plus "BAE Systems in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Quality Inspector." That's about the role maybe.
Thus we can have:

salary range. We might skip Schedule (no info). Also Skills section maybe not needed. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, etc. Remove duplicated lines: there is a duplicated line "Assures continuity of production by performing quality inspections and other tasks as required by instruction or specification." appears twice in duties; we should include only once. Also need to preserve all substantive information; not invent. Let's extract duties list: From text: "Receives instructions and work orders from Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Lead person designated by BAE management." "Assures continuity of production by performing quality inspections, during repair cycles as directed by the Quality Manager, and other tasks as required by instruction or specification."
