Non-Certified Ski Instructor, Winter 26-27

About the role

Non-Certified instructors are new to the industry and have no snow sports industry certifications. Individuals hired in this position will be trained to provide quality instruction primarily to guests aged between 3 and 6 years old. In addition to this, Instructors will perform a variety of duties including - equipment rentals, lesson area set-up, shoveling, and lift operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction to guests aged between 3 and 6 years old.
• Perform duties such as equipment rentals, lesson area set-up, shoveling, and lift operations.
• Participate in season-long certification and elective training programs.
• Work in variable weather conditions and provide excellent guest service.

Requirements

• A passion for working with small children in a winter environment.
• Experience working with children and/or in guest service (preferred).
• An ability to teach new skills in an unfamiliar environment with empathy for beginners.
• A focus on safety and fun!
• Able to be flexible, positive, a team player, and work in variable weather conditions.
• The ability to provide excellent guest service is more important than personal skiing or snowboarding ability.

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $20-$25

Schedule

This position will have openings available for Full Time, 3-day Part-Time, and Holiday work. Please note your preferred availability in your cover letter or email.
