Responsibilities
- Teach group and private lessons
- Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
- Create a safe and fun learning environment
- Support all needs of the snow sports school: inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
- Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain
- Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays
- Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended period of time
Qualifications
Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards. Role As a Non-Certified Ski Instructor, you have the ability to be a flexible employee who works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one-resort mentality which could include:
- Lift Experience
- Mountain Activities
- Food and Beverage Support
- Base Area Operations
- Retail Rental Operations

Pay
The starting wage is $20.00/hr. The pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives.
