About the Role
TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Yard Jockey for a 2nd shift position. This role offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:15 PM
Pay
- $23.75 per hour
Requirements
- Non-CDL or CDL Class A license
- 6 months of verified yard jockey experience in the last 3 years
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Yard Jockey equipment
- Transport Yard Jockey equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including touch freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
