CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company servicing the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. With over 11,000 full-time US employees across more than 60 world-class US operations and a global workforce of over 20,000, CTDI is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver to transport cargo locally.
About the role
Drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area. Position is local, home daily, with overtime available.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- 40–50 hours per week (including overtime)
- Weekly paycheck (every Thursday)
Pay
Starting at $20.13 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the truck pre- and post-trip.
- Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
- Ensure all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
- Assist with or oversee loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
- Acquire all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
- Monitor the maintenance and repair of the truck.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
- Follow all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willingness to complete a company driving training program.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
- Flexible early morning shifts and comfort sitting for extended periods.
- Possession of a valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one within ten (10) days of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (e.g., testing and repair), or forward logistics operation.
