Non-CDL Spotter
About the role
The Spotter drives, transports, and spots trailers at appropriate loading docks and staging areas. Responsibilities include attaching drive units to trailers for movement to and from dock doors for loading and unloading, inspecting trucks for defects before and after trips, and submitting condition reports, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Performs duties as instructed by management
- May be required to operate power industrial equipment
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Computer applications experience using MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work independently
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures
Pay
The base hourly rate for this position is $24.50. Additional pay of $X/HOUR may be available based on shift work.
